Happy Easter in OBSG

April is a busy month, but also a leisure one for students, for it is almost a holiday month for them. In Belgium, students begin their Easter holiday from 11 April to 26th this year. However, as a PhD student, I am not so lucky, only 25th of April is an official holiday this year, which is today to celebrate Easter.

Since Easter is so important a holiday in western world, people normally have a habit to celebrate it, the resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Last Sunday, 24th of April, in the community where I live now, OBSG, the great man Father Charles, he organized an Easter lunch for all residents who live in OBSG as well as his old friends. The lunch was primarily prepared by Piotr and his wife, who are a Belgium couple and also live in OBSG. As a Chinese, we also contributed a dish for the feast, it is called rice ball, with its Chinese name “Tang Yuan”, or “Yuan Xiao”. Here below are nice pictures of the lunch. Happy Easter!
